In a strategic partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has introduced a specially-designed livery to promote the Kingdom as a global tourism destination.
Featuring the “Saudi, Welcome to Arabia” design, the new aircraft livery advances the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by showcasing the Kingdom’s hospitality and highlighting its unique tourist attractions.
The Saudia initiative features Boeing B787-9 aircraft decorated with the new livery. According to a press release, the aircraft will carry welcoming messages across the carrier’s international network, covering over 100 destinations in four continents.
These messages highlight Saudi Arabia’s growing tourism appeal and captivating attractions, in addition to promoting the Kingdom’s attractive destinations, events and projects through in-flight entertainment systems.
The “Saudi, Welcome to Arabia” livery will serve as a visual invitation to the world to explore Saudi Arabia’s hidden gems and unmissable offerings.
Moreover, the STA designed the livery to capture global attention to the Kingdom’s ongoing transformation and expand its international presence as a global tourism destination.
Saudia and STA partnership involves a wide range of initiatives aimed at drawing more tourists to the Kingdom, enhancing air connectivity, and adding more flights to meet increasing demand.
On this occasion, Saudia Group Director General, Ibrahim Al-Omar, praised the partnership that has driven a continued growth in tourist numbers.
“This progress is supported by sustained investment in aviation infrastructure, enhanced connectivity, and the creation of meaningful travel experiences that reflect the Kingdom’s rich identity and meet the highest international standards,” he said.
Similarly, the STA CEO, Fahd Hamidaddin, said: “We continue, through this collaboration, to expand innovative promotional platforms, where the journey itself has become an inspiring experience that reflects the Spirit of Saudi Arabia and supports the delivery of a fully integrated tourism experience for visitors.”
