The Al Madinah Region Development Authority (MDA) has secured the Best Booth Presentation Award from the Saudi Tourism Authority, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The award is part of the Saudi destination management organization’s travel sector excellence program that aims to boost Saudi tourism sector and strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a leading destination for tourists worldwide.
The MDA has received this honorable recognition during its participation in the World Travel Market (WTM) held in London.
The award highlights the pavilion’s excellence in fostering the destination, offering an innovative visitor experience that effectively showcased Madinah’s historical, cultural, as well as tourist attractions.
It also reflects the authority’s commitment to solidifying the Madinah’s status as a global destination that combines both tradition and modernity.

Recently, Madinah has become a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network for culinary arts, a remarkable milestone in the region’s cultural and economic future.
The Culinary Arts Commission, in collaboration with the Madinah Development Authority, is currently intensifying efforts to integrate Madinah’s rich heritage and traditional flavors into the contemporary dining scene.
