The Saudi Music Commission announced the launch of the inaugural edition of Tar Festival, a celebration of Saudi Arabia’s musical heritage.
The festival will take place from August 20-23, 2025, at the Abu Bakr Salem Theater in Riyadh’s Boulevard City, in conjunction with the Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC 2025), according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Tar Festival is a unique music event that celebrates the Kingdom’s authentic musical heritage and highlights the cultural significance of the tar instrument as part of the national music identity.
