Saudi Arabia is taking part in the Beijing Book Fair 2025, through its Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Held from June 18-22, 2025 in China’s capital, the Beijing Book Fair is an essential element of the Saudi-Chinese Cultural Year 2025, underscoring the depth of the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and China and their shared commitment to strengthening cultural and knowledge exchange.
The participation is part of the commission’s tireless efforts to represent the Kingdom in key international forums, promote Saudi Arabia’s literary and intellectual achievements, and explore new avenues for cooperation in literature, publishing and translation, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

In the light of this, the CEO of the Saudi Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, Abdullatif Al-Wasil, said that the Kingdom’s participation aims to bolstering ties between Saudi Arabia and China and foster cultural exchange through events and initiatives that showcase cultural diversity and creativity of both nations.
The Kingdom’s participation features strong institutional presence, including numerous government entities. It also includes seminars, literary gatherings, and dialogue sessions that highlight Saudi-Chinese cultural engagement, with the aim of building long-term partnership in literature, publishing and translation. Furthermore, the participation aims to expand the global reach of Saudi literature and open new opportunities for Arabic content in the Chinese market.
