The Riyadh Boulevard World has recently hosted a Saudi-Iraqi dialogue on music to foster the cultural exchange between both countries, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
As part of the “Common Ground” festival, the dialogue brought together Saudi artist Abadi Al-Johar with Iraqi artist Naseer Shamma. Both artists amazed the audience with unparalleled musical performances.

Organized by the Ministry of Culture, the event aimed basically to highlight the similarities between both Saudi and Iraqi cultures. As a result, the event represented a prestigious platform bridging the gap between both heritages.

The dialogue is part of the “Common Ground” festival’s activities that are now taking place at Riyadh Boulevard from December 18 to 31. Through a series of cultural and artistic activities, the ministry aims to strengthen the Saudi-Iraqi cooperation and offer Saudis a platform to explore the Iraqi culture.
