
Saudi Arabia’s Heritage Commission will organize the International Festival of Traditional Games from December 19 to 25 in Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The festival represents a valuable opportunity to highlight the cultural value of the traditional games and boost cultural exchange.
With a promise to amuse visitors, the festival will boast several pavilions and activities showcasing the history of the traditional games with an exclusive opportunity to learn how to make toys and home decorations inspired by these games.
The Crafts Corners area will display products of specialized craftsmen from different regions across the Kingdom with the participation of various countries around the world.
Crucially, the festival also includes the Camel Year 2024 Pavilion, offering visitors a visual experience to learn about camels as a deeply rooted symbol in Saudi culture.
Therefore, the festival stands as a vital platform to celebrate the Kingdom’s long-standing heritage and the ancient cultural value of folk games.
