Red Sea International Film to Honor Oscar Winner Viola Davis in Jeddah

The 2024 Red Sea International Film Festival will honor Oscar winner actress and producer Viola Davis and Egyptian star Mona Zaki in Jeddah.

Set to take place from December 5 to 15, the festival has selected the opening and closing films for 2024 edition.

According to Arab News, the world premiere of “The Tale of Daye’s Family” by director Karim Shenawy will open the festival.

Meanwhile, the closing film will be “Better Man,” directed, co-written, and co-produced by Michael Gracey.

Moreover, Johnny Depp-directed “‘Modi, Three Days on the Wing of Madness” will secure the festival’s Awards Night Gala film.
