“More Than a Sea,” revolves around four main pillars, as follows:

  • Adopting the concept of sustainability
  • Capturing investment opportunities
  • Promoting tourism experiences in the Red Sea

Regulatory Aspect

The campaign crystalizes the regulatory aspects of the Authority to strengthen the coastal tourism sector in the Kingdom.

It sheds light on the authority’s pivotal role in developing the necessary policies, strategies, plans, programmes and initiatives to regulate navigational and marine tourism activities. These efforts include issuing licenses and permits and preparing the infrastructure for these activities.

Sustainability

The campaign tackles the Authority’s several attempts to protect the environment as an integral part of its vision. The authority has been intensifying cooperation with relevant public and private sector entities to ensure the protection of the marine environment.

Furthermore, it has been accelerating the growth of the blue economy, preserving natural assets and resources in the Red Sea, and producing navigational maps that identify safe routes and preserve coral reefs.

Investment Opportunities

Along a coastline of more than 1,800 kilometers, the area boasts several extraordinary features, such as precious marine treasures, attractive nature, perfect weather, and various cultures and landmarks.
