Oman Air has unveiled the launch of a new Muscat–Taif route, with flights set to kick off on January 31, 2026, according to Gulf News.
The new route further strengthens the airline’s regional network, marking the Oman Air’s fifth destination in Saudi Arabia, following Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Madinah.
The airline will operate the new Taif route three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, through a Boeing 737 aircraft.
Travelers will enjoy convenient flight timings and Oman Air’s signature onboard service, ensuring a smooth and seamless travel experience.
“Expanding into Taif strengthens the strong economic and cultural ties between Oman and Saudi Arabia. It also enables us to better serve our guests by providing greater choice and convenience,” Con Korfiatis, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, said.
By adding Taif to its network, Oman Air further boosts regional connectivity, ensures smoother travel across the Gulf countries and fosters broader economic, cultural, and social ties.
