Libraries Commission Launches Kids’ Reading Event

The Libraries Commission has kicked off a three-day children’s reading event across cultural centers in Dammam, Ahad Rafidah, Riyadh, Hail, Buraidah, Sakaka, Najran, and Jizan in celebration of World Children’s Day.

The event provides children with a rich cultural experience aimed at strengthening reading habits, nurturing curiosity, and inspiring exploration through a variety of interactive activities that guide young participants on a creativity-filled journey.

The program features workshops designed to spark imagination, enhance expressive skills, and connect books to children’s daily interests, fostering a meaningful and lasting relationship between young readers and the world of reading within a safe and motivating environment.

This initiative is part of a broader set of offerings that enrich the experience of both children and their families. These include joint workshops for parents and children, recreational and hands-on programs, and spaces for self-expression—all designed to support a comprehensive learning journey that meets children’s needs and encourages their growth and discovery.
