W Riyadh Debuts in KAFD, Elevating Saudi Arabia’s Luxury Lifestyle Landscape
The King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) has marked a major milestone with the official debut of W Riyadh, the luxury lifestyle brand’s first-ever property in Saudi Arabia.
This landmark opening brings Marriott International’s signature design and energy to the heart of the Kingdom’s financial hub.
The launch of W Riyadh – KAFD serves as a strategic move to broaden the district’s premium hospitality portfolio and solidify its reputation as a leading destination for global business and leisure travelers.
Perfectly integrated into KAFD’s walkable environment, the hotel provides seamless access to the district’s commercial hubs and retail spaces, as well as cultural attractions.
Its location is further enhanced by a direct link to the KAFD Metro, ensuring rapid connectivity to Riyadh’s city center and King Khalid International Airport, KAFD said in a press release.
The property features 210 guest rooms, including 17 suites and two exclusive penthouses. Guests can explore seven distinct restaurants and lounges, along with a vibrant poolside venue.
For business and wellness, the hotel offers 1,000 square meters of event space alongside signature amenities such as the AWAY Spa and FIT fitness studio.
Sultan Alobaida, CCO of KAFD DMC, noted that the arrival of W Riyadh highlights the district’s ability to attract elite global brands that enrich its business ecosystem.
He emphasized that as Saudi Arabia pursues its goal of 150 million annual visitors by 2030, high-quality, centrally located hospitality remains essential to the district’s “work, stay, and play” vision.
Erden Kendigelen, Regional Vice President for Middle East Luxury, added that the debut brings the brand’s progressive design and cultural programming to a destination currently redefining the future of travel in the Kingdom.
