Think Saudi Raises Over $8 Million in Pre-Seed Round

Think, a Saudi startup specializing in developing infrastructure solutions for artificial intelligence, announced that it raised more than $8 million in a Pre-Seed funding round.

The company said the round was led by RAED Ventures and Wa’ed Ventures, with participation from the investment arm of Dhahran Techno Valley and a number of strategic investors.

Think added that its solutions combine hardware and software to reduce the operating cost of running AI models. Additionally, it said it has developed compute units that rely on liquid cooling, along with a proprietary management system called ILM.

In the same context, the company said production tests showed the system can increase GPU utilization efficiency to over 90%, compared with a market average of about 50%, while using commercially available components without the need for specialized equipment.

Cost reduction, local adoption

Think  also confirmed that its platform helps organizations reduce dependence on external cloud computing services, noting it has succeeded in cutting processing costs to less than one-tenth the cost of advanced models at global companies like Google and OpenAI.

The company was founded in 2025 by Ahmed Al-Sharif and Ammar Inaya. It plans to expand into Gulf markets, develop ILM into a standalone product, and continue rolling out its solutions within the Saudi market.

Finally, Think’s product lineup includes three main solutions: AI SuperNode, the ILM platform for managing compute workloads, and Constellation, a system for turning office networks into high-performance compute clusters outside working hours.
