AlUla, Saudi Arabia’s ancient oasis city, is gearing up for a breathtaking event this fall, transforming its golden deserts into a vibrant venue for celebration.
From November 6 to 15, 2026, the AlUla Skies Festival returns for a spectacular ten-day celebration of celestial wonders, taking full advantage of the region’s status as the Gulf’s first certified Dark Sky Reserve.

This year, the festival promises an enchanting blend of daytime aerial adventures and vibrant nocturnal entertainment. At dawn, the AlUla Skyrise experience will paint the morning sky as thirty hot air balloons drift majestically over the UNESCO-listed tombs of Hegra, offering passengers an unforgettable sunrise panorama.
For families seeking a gentler ascent, tethered balloon rides will lift guests fifty meters above AlManshiyah Plaza for sweeping views of the rugged landscape.
As darkness falls, the atmosphere shifts into a theatrical wonderland during the Hot Air Balloon Glow Show, where illuminated, tethered balloons ignite in perfect synchronization with acrobatic displays, vivid projection mapping, and live music.

Meanwhile, the historic Old Town Amphitheatre morphs into the House of Constellations, an immersive astronomy hub complete with a 360-degree planetarium. From there, local Rawi guides will lead visitors up to the Old Town Fort to decode the planets and constellations glittering in the pristine night sky.

Grounding this celestial journey with earthly rhythm, Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram will deliver a captivating open-air concert set against the striking desert monuments. Though ticket details remain unreleased, anticipation is already soaring for this premier November event.
