Global stars and local talents of different ages and skill levels shone in the AlUla Trail Race 2026, which concluded on Friday.
The race drew skilled and amateur runners from Saudi Arabia and the world in a thrilling competition across AlUla’s breathtaking natural landscapes and ancient landmarks, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Runners conquered a variety of trails that highlight AlUla’s unique geography, merging the spirit of exploration with the ultimate test of endurance.
AlUla Trail Race 2026 featured various racing categories, such as the Hegra Hundred, a premier 100km ultra-marathon known for its extreme physical demands.
Moreover, the 50km AlMejdar took runners on a journey through ancient Old Town and stunning natural trails, complemented by the 23km Elephant Rock route and the community-focused 10km AlUla Oasis run.
It also included the 3km Sunset Run (ages 13+), the 1.6km Kids Run (ages 5–12), and an additional 3km race for younger age groups. These initiatives aim to foster community engagement and promote a culture of fitness across all generations.
The amazing race wrapped up with a grand awards ceremony where winners received trophies and medals amid a festive atmosphere in the heart of AlUla Old Town.
