Japanese Cultural Festival “Hayy Matsuri” Kicks off in Jeddah

The third edition of the Japanese cultural festival “Hayy Matsuri” kicked off at Hayy Jameel in Jeddah with a dynamic program for visitors, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The three‑day program was inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Shu Ha Ri—a journey that begins with imitation, advances through refinement, and concludes in innovation and creation.

Hayy Matsuri aimed to strengthen cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and Japan, showcasing the arts as both a bridge of human connection and a platform for fostering mutual understanding.
