The Winter at Tantora Festival officially kicked off in December 18 in AlUla Governorate, returning this year with a vibrant program spotlighting the region’s rich agricultural legacy and ancient history, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Running until January 10, the festival takes its name from the Tantora, a traditional mudbrick sundial standing in the heart of AlUla’s Old Town.

The 2025–2026 edition features a diverse lineup of immersive experiences that showcase AlUla’s relationship with time, land, and community.

The program includes the “Old Town Nights,” offering an evocative evening journey blending heritage storytelling with refined dining at the historic AlUla Fort.
Meanwhile, the AlManshiyah Carnival presents a series of traditional games, colorful parades, and festive performances.

The “Shorfat Tantora” also hosts live performances at the rooftops of the AlJadidah Arts District, combining music with stunning views of the historic landscape.
By celebrating the Kingdom’s cultural heritage and solidifying AlUla’s position as a prestigious hub for arts, culture, and tourism, the Winter at Tantora supports the ambitious objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
