Saudi Coffee Company has launched the third edition of its celebrated Saudi Sip of Excellence, Gems of Saudi, in collaboration with the prestigious Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE), according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The competition aims to support Saudi farmers, refine the artistry of local coffee cultivation, and spotlight the Kingdom’s heritage on the global stage.
The competition not only encourages quality and innovation but also strengthens Saudi Arabia’s growing reputation as a world leader in specialty coffee.
Now, the initiative has become a proud national stage celebrating top coffee farmers of Jazan, Al-Baha, and Aseer, standing as a bold stride toward realizing the company’s vision of cultivating a fully integrated Saudi coffee ecosystem.
By offering farmers specialized training and technical evaluations of their crops, the competition significantly enhances quality and agricultural excellence.
During the competition, Saudi farmers will also have a unique opportunity to gain global insight and leverage international experience as the judging and tasting process will be entrusted to world-renowned experts from the Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE).
Furthermore, the competition stimulates economic growth within coffee-growing communities and enhances their ability to compete both at home and abroad.
It also showcases the cultural identity of Saudi coffee, honoring it as a living symbol of national heritage and a key pillar of Arab hospitality.
