The “Global Harmony 2” initiative has launched the Yemen Culture Week in Al-Suwaidi Park in Riyadh, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The event has drawn a large number of visitors from the Yemeni community, as well as citizens and residents of various nationalities.
Organized by the Saudi Media Ministry in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), the Yemen Culture Week aims to showcase the traditional Yemeni culture and heritage over 8 days.

The event has fascinated audiences with traditional Yemeni musical performances and entertainment shows, in which around 80 folk arts dancers and performers participated.
As one of the Quality of Life Program’s projects under Vision 2030, the event focuses on enhancing communication among expatriates in Saudi Arabia, highlighting the Kingdom’s cultural diversity through an interactive space that engages different communities and cultures.

The Yemen Culture Week involves pavilions that display handicrafts, silverware, bamboo products, in addition to live demonstrations of traditional Yemeni clothing design, artifacts and utensils that showcase the richness of local arts.
On its first day, the event featured folklore performances, highlighting the elements of Yemeni heritage and culture. It also included a range of interactive activities, with the participation of artists and creators.

Over four weeks, the “Global Harmony 2” initiative has attracted over one million visitors from various nationalities. The initiative hosts a series of events in Al-Suwaidi Park to showcase the culture of 14 countries, including India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Yemen, Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Ethiopia.
