Al-Suwaidi Park in Riyadh has attracted a large number of visitors to enjoy a vivid celebration of Levantine culture.
Organized by the Saudi Media Ministry in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) under the “Global Harmony 2” initiative, the Levantine Culture event showcases the cultures of Jordan, Syria, Palestine and Lebanon with a diverse range of activities.

The three-day event has drawn thousands of citizens and residents of different nationalities eager to explore the culture and heritage of the Levant, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The second day of the event engaged audiences in a festive celebration of the Levantine culture, with zaffeh and dabkeh dance, in addition to folkloric performances and cultural shows.

It also featured dazzling circus shows and artistic performances, as well as cultural pavilions showcasing Levantine traditions and heritage through clothes, folk arts, handicrafts and traditional dishes.
The event drew the interest of large crowds, who thanked Saudi Arabia for organizing the event which allowed them to celebrate their cultural heritage.

The “Global Harmony 2” initiative is one of the Quality of Life Program’s projects under Vision 2030. It also hosts a series of events in Al-Suwaidi Park to showcase the culture of 14 countries, including India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Ethiopia.
Moreover, the initiative aims to foster understanding and promote cultural exchange among communities by highlighting various aspects of the lives of expatriates in Saudi Arabia.
