The King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority has launched its first integrated ecotourism initiative, Al-Touqi Season, to foster sustainable tourism, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Set to run from October 2025 to April 2026, the season was unveiled during a significant creative ceremony held in the Al-Touqi area and attended by representatives from government and environmental agencies, the private sector, and various media outlets.

With the launch of the season, the reserve welcomes visitors and tourists from Saudi Arabia and worldwide, inviting them to explore its natural landscapes and rich biodiversity.
Al-Touqi Season features five specialized operators, each offering visitors a distinctive location and a vast array of entertaining activities.
Interestingly, visitors can enjoy paragliding, horseback riding, camel riding, and cycling.

Furthermore, the season provides visitors with opportunities for relaxation and meditation under the clear desert skies, along with heritage excursions, birdwatching experiences, and nature photography sessions.

The initiative stands as a testament to the reserve’s commitment to strengthening its position as a leading national destination for sustainable tourism. It also reflects its dedication to fostering environmental sustainability and promoting quality of life, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
