Manga Productions has signed a publishing and distribution agreement with Japanese company Sega to launch the Sonic Racing: Crossworlds game for MENA audiences, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The Saudi company will cooperate with Sega to deploy the game in the Middle East and North Africa region. The collaboration will also feature invaluable opportunities for Saudi talent to play a pivotal role in the publishing process, as well as marketing the game.
Sonic Racing: Crossworlds provides extensive vehicle customization options for appearance and performance, in addition to items granting special abilities that affect gameplay style.

Furthermore, it supports online multiplayer, allowing players to compete globally, climb leaderboards and earn rewards.
The game features a record-breaking roster of 23 characters, with plans set to expand further through post-launch updates. These upcoming updates will include characters such as Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona 5 Royal, Ichiban Kasuga from Like a Dragon, along with popular characters from franchises such as Minecraft and SpongeBob SquarePants, among others.

Players can customize their strategies through over 70 types of items with each one of them offers various skills and features.
The game also supports online multiplayer with a co-op feature, where up to 12 players can compete.
Essam Bukhary, CEO of Manga Productions, said that the company has successfully built strategic partnerships that have played a key role in developing the creative content industry in the Kingdom and across the region.
