Saudi Artisanal Company has signed a cooperation agreement with From AlUla to bolster creative industries and support the handicrafts sector across the Kingdom, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The agreement will enable Saudi artisans and unleash new local and international markets for their creative products.
The deal also aligns with the Kingdom’s efforts to support the handicrafts sector and strengthen its position as a sustainable pillar of the national economy.
Based on the new cooperation, Saudi Artisanal Company will market From AlUla’s products across all its retail outlets and digital platforms as well as organize various workshops to facilitate knowledge exchange among artisans.
Moreover, both entities will also launch cultural and awareness initiatives to demonstrate AlUla’s rich heritage and the cultural role of handcrafted products as deep expressions of creativity and national identity.
In this way, the deal represents a significant milestone in leading the Kingdom’s handicraft sector by opening new doors for artisans to showcase their products through professional marketing channels. In other words, artisans will have sustainable business opportunities that help improve production quality and craftsmanship.
The agreement also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s celebration of the “Year of Handicrafts” in 2025. By launching a vast array of dialogues and educational workshops, the initiative aims to modernize traditional handicrafts and introduce an unparalleled blend between design and technologies.
