Saudi Arabia is hosting AlUla Tour 2025, a world-class cycling competition that involves 5 challenging stages.
From January 28 to February 1, 2025, cycling enthusiasts from across the world have a unique opportunity to watch elite cyclists compete in AlUla ancient oasis, amid its stunning natural landscapes and historical landmarks.
AlUla Tour 2025 is organized by the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Sport, the Saudi Cycling Federation, and the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
It is one of the highly-anticipated cycling events which brings together Olympic champions, European champions and winners of global races, underscoring AlUla‘s position as a leading destination for cycling.
During the first stage of AlUla Tour 2025, 25 male and female students took part in a training tour, led by the first professional Saudi female cyclist and the star of Jayco AlUla team, Moroj Adil.
The tour allowed children to know more about cycling, meet with international cyclists, and participate in a race dedicated for children.
The routes of AlUla Tour 2025 have seen significant improvement and expansion, further establishing AlUla’s status as a perfect cycling destination for both professional and amateur cyclists.
Moreover, the event emphasizes the RCU’s commitment to supporting the next generation of Saudi cyclists, through launching local initiatives and community events to enhance youth’s cycling skills, and encourage them to adopt cycling as a healthy lifestyle choice, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
