‘Dynasty Warriors: ORIGINS’ Celebrates Regional Launch in Riyadh

During a special event in Riyadh, titled XP25, the AAA-rated video game “Dynasty Warriors” announced the official launch of its latest version ORIGINS.

The event was organized by Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation “Misk,” to celebrate the launch of “Dynasty Warriors: ORIGINS” in the region, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The highly-anticipated game is developed by Koei Tecmo Games. Manga Productions is responsible for publishing the game in the Middle East and North Africa. The popular series producer, Opa Masatomo, and the game development team, as well as several leaders in the entertainment industry attended the event.

On this occasion, the CEO of Manga Productions, Essam Bukhary, expressed his excitement about collaborating with Koei Tecmo Games. “This partnership is a strategic step toward empowering Saudi youth in the gaming industry and fostering regional and global expansion,” he said.

“We aim to provide a unique experience to our partners in the Middle East and North Africa, contributing to the development of the creative content ecosystem in Saudi Arabia,” Bukhary added.

Similarly, the game producer, Opa Masatomo, stressed the significance of the partnership with Manga Productions. “The Dynasty Warriors series is vital to our company, and it is significant that Dynasty Warriors: Origins represents our first event in Saudi Arabia and our initial localization into Arabic,” he noted.

During the event, Manga Productions showcased its latest games, including Adventures of Future’s Folktales, inspired by the Saudi anime series “Asateer Future’s Folktales.” It involves adventures based on stories from the Arabian Peninsula, featuring five unique worlds and many characters.

Moreover, Manga Productions displayed other games, including “Ant Empire,” “Smurfs: Dreamworld,” and “Smurfs Village Party,” all published, distributed and localized in the Arab World by Manga Productions, in collaboration with the French company Microids.
