
The Al-Baha Municipality has prepared 142 parks and recreational areas to welcome visitors to the region during the current mid-term break of the second semester.
Dr. Ali Al-Sawat, Secretary of Al-Baha Municipality, confirmed the completion of all preparations and arrangements for public facilities and services to receive visitors and tourists. He noted that the total area of green spaces reached 4,188,559.38 square meters.
He explained that the municipality has ensured the availability of multiple alternatives and options for visitors and tourists frequenting public parks and recreational areas, adhering to the highest global standards in terms of a healthy environment and modern services. The municipality also continues to develop these capabilities and improve services through numerous vital projects in this field.
Dr. Al-Sawat pointed out that the Al-Baha region includes 142 parks and recreational areas featuring green spaces that provide diverse opportunities for various activities. These facilities include playgrounds, shaded areas, seating, football fields, and trees, including palms. Additionally, there are 39 fitness and health walkways and 27 multi-purpose municipal squares.
