Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, will host URWLD (‘Your World’) first destination sports, leisure and lifestyle-entertainment venue in the Middle East.
During TOURISE Summit in Riyadh, URWLD made the groundbreaking announcement, revealing it has been working with key Saudi government entities, including the Ministry of Investment (MISA) and the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) for over two years.
URWLD is an indoor adventure hub, hosting more than a dozen adventure sports and innovative experiences from around the world in one indoor facility. The exceptional platform immerses visitors in an extraordinary blend of physical sports, interactive experiences, hospitality, and community culture by bringing outdoor adventure experiences into urban environments.
As a game-changer for adventure destinations, URWLD Riyadh will feature a wide array of adventure experiences under one roof, including indoor surfing, scuba diving, archery, bouldering, indoor ice climbing, canyoning-coasteering and caving facilities.
The activities will be catered to the needs of visitors of all ages and fitness levels, including beginners, enthusiasts, elite users and spectators.
Moreover, it will host wellness studios, specialty sports shops, retail shops, private event spaces, and immersive VR experiences, in addition to dining spaces featuring local and international food options and refreshing beverages.
URWLD Riyadh is expected to create over 500 full- and part-time jobs, as well as becoming a host venue for all types of events, competitions, tournaments and festivals, including corporate away-days and conference type activities, further solidifying Riyadh’s status as a key hub for entertainment, tourism and major events.
Set to open before 2030, URWLD is anticipated to expand in the Kingdom, bringing the unique experience to other Saudi cities and locations, such as Jeddah.
