Al-Baha Winter Festival: Premier Destination for Visitors, Residents

The Tihama sector in the Al-Baha Region is completing its preparations for the Al-Baha Winter Festival 2025, which will feature more than 250 events organized by over 40 governmental and private entities. The festival is designed to strengthen the region’s standing as a leading winter tourist destination.

Following the directives of the Governor of Al-Baha Region, Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, municipal teams have carried out 969 inspections of accommodation facilities, rehabilitated more than 33,000 square meters of green spaces, and continued maintenance efforts across public parks and service facilities.

Beginning in early December, the festival will run across the Tihama sector and several governorates until Ramadan. It will offer a wide variety of tourism, cultural, heritage, and agricultural activities, inviting visitors from across the Kingdom to experience its diverse attractions.

In Al-Makhwah, guests can enjoy a full entertainment program that includes rides, theatrical shows, concerts, and competitions. Al-Hajrah will feature events such as horse racing, camel milking competitions, and children’s festivals. Qilwah will present an array of recreational, cultural, and educational activities, while Ghamid Al-Zanad will host a seasonal festival showcasing local crafts, workshops, and new investment opportunities.

Overall, the Al-Baha Winter Festival aims to stimulate tourism and economic growth, engage local communities, and promote sustainable tourism and investment throughout the region.
