King Salman Park has won the World Silver Award at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2026 in the Sustainable Development Projects category, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The recognition highlighted the project’s comprehensive sustainability framework, which embeds environmental principles at every stage of development, from initial planning and design through to implementation and long-term operations.

Through a series of innovative sustainability practices, the park has also strengthened resource efficiency, fostered biodiversity and reduced its environmental footprint, while promoting a more inclusive and livable urban environment.
These efforts are rooted in the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles and aligned the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030, the Saudi Green Initiative as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
As one of the world’s largest city parks, King Salman Park is a landmark project that has been dramatically transforming Riyadh’s urban landscape.
The park seeks to create a dynamic hub that promotes quality of life and advances the city’s long-term development goals.
