Britain’s Prince of Wales, Prince William, has embarked on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, from February 9-11, 2026, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
On Monday evening, the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman, received Prince William in Diriyah, where they toured the UNESCO World Heritage Site At-Turaif District, the capital of the First Saudi State, and viewed a presentation of the Diriyah project’s master plan.

At At-Turaif District, Prince William explored the traditional Najdi architectural style, visiting the palaces of the historical rulers of the First Saudi State.
The tour included a visit to Salwa Palace, a historic palace that was once the center of government during the First Saudi State. On this occasion, the Saudi Crown Prince and the Prince of Wales took a commemorative photo in front of the palace.

On behalf of the British government, Prince William visits Saudi Arabia to strengthen ties as both nations celebrate 100 years of diplomatic relations.
The Kensington Palace said that the visit will also involve holding an audience with the Saudi Crown Prince and engaging in a series of events that showcase the Kingdom’s economic transformation, cultural heritage, and environmental sustainability.

Additionally, the visit will include a stop at AlUla, Saudi Arabia’s ancient oasis city, where Prince William will tour vast wildlife reserves and inaugurate the “Prince of Wales House,” a premier UK cultural hub established to cultivate artistic synergy and shared heritage between Saudi Arabia and Britain.
