A brilliant Indonesian artist has captured the attention during an important exhibition at Hayy Jameel in Jeddah through various stunning works.
Andry Boy Kurniawan has amazed audience with his distinctive artistic technique which is based on blending creativity with technology.

Organized by the Indonesian Consulate, Kurniawan’s exhibition featured an important talk by the artist focused on how he fuses traditional painting techniques with augmented reality.
The artist noted that he was inspired by the larger-than-life characters, both real and imagined, that shape modern culture.

Crucially, his style is particularly marked by bulbous-headed figures with small, beady eyes.
Kurniawan also depended on gummies and gemstones to mirror the light and offer a dynamic, whimsical quality to his art.

In showcasing these incredible works, the exhibition stands as a testament to the excellence of Indonesia’s contemporary art scene. Meanwhile, it underscored Saudi Arabia’s growing role as a hub for creative exchanges.
In the light of this, the consulate noted that it hoped that the exhibition would further encourage greater innovation and collaboration between both countries.
