Ithra Winter Features Captivating Performances, Entertaining Events

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) has launched Ithra Winter 2025–2026, boasting stunning performances and entertaining events, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The season, coinciding with Khobar Season, kicked off with a grand opening ceremony featuring a breathtaking aerial performance of more than 1,000 drones. Thus, the show dazzled the night sky with art-inspired formations in one of the region’s most prominent visual displays.

Interestingly, Ithra Winter is set to host an eagerly awaited concert at Ithra’s Theatre, headlined by renowned Saudi artists Abdulaziz Al-Muana and Abdullah Al-Mana, under the direction of Maestro Wisam Khassaf.

Over the course of four days, Ithra’s outdoor plazas will amuse visitors with a celebrity-packed lineup of live performances, welcoming Saudi singer Saad Al-Oud, artist Arwa, and the choral ensemble Corala.

The performances will also include interactive and immersive shows that celebrate the diversity of the Saudi music scene and its evolving position on the regional and global stage.

The center noted that the opening festivities will also feature roaming performances, a special concert by the Chinese Orchestra, and a wide range of theatrical productions that reflect the creativity of cultural expression.

For Art and heritage enthusiasts, Ithra Winter will also host “Echoes of the Familiar” on October 30, displaying 28 artworks by over 25 Saudi artists. The collection delves into the theme of “home,” with multiple artistic expressions.

Overall, the season stands as a testament to Ithra‘s dedication to elevating the Kingdom’s cultural scene through leading programs such as Tanween, the 10th edition of the iRead competition, and Ithra Spain Cultural Days.
